Brandy Human

Human is the upcoming fifth studio album by American R&B singer Brandy, to be released online and in stores in the United States on December 9, 2008.[6] The album marks Brandy's debut on the Epic Records label, following her split with Atlantic Records in 2005.

Brandy has been working on the album on and off since 2005, but recently revealed on a radio promotion tour that she's been recording new material since April 2008.[8] The project involves a wide range of producers and songwriters such as Timbaland,[1] Soundz,[9] Greg Curtis,[10] Toby Gad,[11] Crystal "Cri$tyle" Johnson,[12] Claude Kelly,[13] Kara DioGuardi,[14] Tim & Bob,[15] RedOne,[2] Jim Beanz,[16] Rockwilder,[17] WyldCard, Bryan-Michael Cox, Hit-Boy, Midi Mafia,[8] and Brian Kennedy,[18] as well as other musicians such as Natasha Bedingfield,[19] Tonex,[20] Esthero,[3] Keri Hilson,[21] Yung Berg,[22] Taio Cruz,[16] and violinist Josh Vietti.[23] Although planned, studio collaborations with Kerry "Krucial" Brothers and Missy Elliott did not materialize due to scheduling conflicts.[24][25]

The album's leading single, entitled "Right Here (Departed)", premiered on August 13, 2008 via Brandy's official website. A second single, "Long Distance", was premiered on October 3, 2008 via Pittsburgh radio station WAMO.
